This definition of the now very famous number "666" is actually quite simple. It
is also not as ominous as some would have us think. These statements are in
principle far more all encompassing, understandable and useable. Don't get
caught up in the hype. It just paralyses!
[The Lord]: "I will give you a
measure by which you and everyone else may know where he should stand with
his self-love, with his love for his fellowman, and with his love of God.
Take the number 666 which in
its good or bad sense - depicts either a perfected human being or a
perfected devil.
Divide man's love evenly into
666 parts. Of these give to God 600, to the fellowman 60, and to yourself 6,
then you have the right proportions of a perfected human being. But if you
choose to be a perfected devil, then give God 6, your fellowman 60, and
yourself 600!"
