To the Franz Bardon Books |

Franz Bardon

Franz Bardon has been helping humanity through
teaching for a long long time and has had
several significant incarnations on Earth for the sake of humanity.

The Purpose of the Franz Bardon Books! |
What
is Baptism/Initiation from the Hermetic point of view?
|
|
The three book
set of the work of Franz Bardon is actually the first complete
explanation of first, second and third tarot cards seen in our times.
What is currently understood under "Tarot Card" is not intended here.
The often very shallow "New Age" concept of Tarot is misleading and
demeaning of the true Tarot. The Tarot actually refers to the laws,
order and history of our universe.
Being a
complete phonetic rendition of the hieroglyphs on first, second and
third pillars of the Temple of Wisdom of Ancient Egypt, the works of
Franz Bardon are not a whimsical or intuitive work. This was all that
was permitted to be revealed by Divine Providence at this time, offering
the clearest explanation to date of what the Tarot actually is and how
to apply it practically to the life of the physical body, the soul and
spirit.
There is not one topic that pertains to
metaphysics that is not included, accurately addressed or otherwise
discussed in detail in these masterworks. In short this body of work is metaphysics
itself and not a fortune tellers tool. It is written for anyone seeking the
highest possible spiritual maturity while still on Earth and one of the
greatest blessings bestowed to human kind. |

"For thousands of
years Franz Bardon has taught the Holy Mysteries only to a few
mature students. This changed in 1958 when Divine
Providence commissioned Franz Bardon to reveal the Holy
Mysteries in the form of books to the whole world. The
Mysteries were revealed because of the many people killed in
wars, who, in the spirit world, complained that
they had no access to the true path of spiritual
development." Franz Bardon is the
Master and Revealer of The True Spiritual Sciences into our modern times for
those who are seriously working towards the path to perfection. These are
the Sacred Mysteries of the Bible.
This Hermetic knowledge has always been closely
guarded and was only taught by the ancient Egyptian priesthood
to a select few in a master to pupil, one on one apprenticeship
over the millennia. This information has intentionally been kept
hidden for millennia because it is sacred.
The Hermetic Sciences do not present a
short cut as there are
no shortcuts to perfection. There are only two paths will take you
to spiritual maturity.
The first is through saintliness, which is in the observance of
the Commandments and loving our fellow man more than yourself.
This is a noble but also a long road. The second method is
through the practice of the mysteries. This road is shorter but
requires considerably more work and is clearly outlined in the work of
Franz Bardon.
The three books written by the express
instruction of Divine Providence by Franz Bardon contain, in the
most complete form of instruction ever permitted into the sacred
mysteries.

Initiation is just another word for "Baptism." |
|
The religious baptismal ritual of washing the head or
body with water is a traditional ceremony that symbolizes the purification
of the soul. The use of water in this traditional rite is both symbolic of
the soul and, at the same time, the purification of the soul.
Whether it is the Hindus in the Ganges, Christians in
a river or baptismal font etc., the symbolism of the purification of the
soul, which, in metaphysical terms, is analogous to the Water Element and
the Moon Sphere, is the same, differing only in religious connotations. At best this is
merely a symbolic baptism, or an Initiation into a religious sect. And, by
extension, the religious belief that one espouses through this initiation is
commensurate with ones own level of spiritual maturity - whether it be
Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or Jewish.
But, because this ritual requires no real effort it
stands to reason that it contributes nothing towards any actual Spiritual
rebirth with the prerequisite spiritual
purification.
The information in the book Initiation into
Hermetics by Franz Bardon means "Baptism into the hidden mysteries."
The application of the contents of this book serves
first to purify the soul. This is the very first step towards any spiritual
enlightenment. In Christian terms the purification of the soul is the same
as "the forgiveness of Sin."
Christian teachings often speak of the salvation of
the soul and its pivotal importance to spiritual life. But seldom if ever is
there a definition of what the soul actually is or what purpose it serves,
what it is made of, how it relates to or connects to the physical body or
the spiritual body.
The sacred mysteries explain this and may other
fundamentals which have long been called "mysteries" because only very, very
few had an accurate and meaningful explanation. |
|
What is the soul and what is its struggle. |
|
In simple terms the Soul is the harbinger between the
Spirit and physical body. It is connected to both but separate from either.
The Will is an attribute of the Spirit, not the soul. It through the will
that the spirit directs the soul to be closer to the spiritual. Or, should
the soul have more darkness than light it gravitates towards the physical
body. Rising to the proximity of the spirit the soul becomes more like the
Spirit, descending to the physical it is closer to the darkness which can
rightfully be called Satanic. The physical is beguiling and tempting in its
sensuousness while the spark of God within us beckons us to awaken towards
the spiritual. Herein lays the importance of the struggle within all human
beings.
This struggle is compounded by the fact that the
substance of the soul is made up of the substance of up to 10 generations of
our own progenitors with their virtues and vices. In addition we have our
own burdens and those of the world around us that can compound an already
heavy burden. In short the soul is where we harbor our noble as well as our
impure character traits that make up our personality. The negative traits
are the actual cause of our ailments. And our ailments serve to prevent us
from sinking deeper into the physical.
The struggle of life is to free ourselves of our
own negative traits which, among other things, keep us in darkness. The
removal of the negative traits is tantamount in Christian terms as the
"forgiveness of sin." This is the very first and most essential step towards
spiritual growth. This purification of the soul is necessary to allow the
Spirit to be more active within her. It stands to reason that the actual
work of purification cannot be done without a tangible understanding of what
the soul is, its purpose and workings.
One has to know their way around their own soul to
recognize where it is weak and where it is strong. The ancients had an axiom
that stated that the first step in acquiring wisdom is to "know thyself."
Only then can we proceed towards a purification because if we cannot see our
own shortcomings, how can we better ourselves. This process restores the
strength of the soul and leads to its re-awakening. A weak soul being Earth
bound, whereas a healthy soul has the attributes of and resembles its
Spirit.
Before this purification most people have a fear of
physical death, after it is done the awareness that there is no actual
death. Only then are we truly children of God made in His image and able to
act with His authority over all that is created. This work requires a higher
form of belief, a "living belief," being put into motion. This requires
effort and is a completely different experience than participating in a
customary baptismal ritual. This is also the main focus of true Christian
Mysticism. Only those who search and work for it will be truly baptized -
acquiring a true Initiation into a more absolute belief in a more workable
and living spiritual life.
This is why the first book by Franz Bardon is aptly
entitled Initiation into Hermetics; it is a "Baptism into that which is
hidden" which is why it is one of the greatest of blessings given to
humanity in our very troubling times. The whole collection of Franz Bardon's
works is in truth a modern day revelation of Love and Mercy from Divine
Providence - the Creator. |
