Philosophia Mystica The
Prophesies of the Prophet Daniel
by
Philippus Theophrastus Aureolus Bombast of Hohenheim aka Paracelsus
|
Note: Anyone reading Paracelsus in
the attempt to understand alchemy will achieve very little without first
understanding the spiritual writings of Paracelsus. Paracelsus was deeply
spiritual and a devout Christian, albeit not a church going one. |

Your psoriasis ointment is amazing -prescription creams and amazingly
even Shea butter couldn't clear up my son's skin the way your product did.
Also love the books (esp.
Philosophia Mystica: The Prophesies of the Prophet Daniel) a fascinating
book which needs to be studied, not read once. Thank you again - I'm sure
I'll be ordering from you in the future.

A Note to The Reader!
To start with it
should be stated that this material in addition to authentic also provides
and excellent Daniel bible study for the book of Daniel. Very few writers
offer as much as Paracelsus in terms of clarity and honesty and depth.
Paracelsus leaves no room for mistaking what he thinks. And furthermore he
can back himself up quite well. Daniel himself encountered what Paracelsus
encountered in his own life. Both were hated and praised at the same time
and were put to trials for their righteous stance. With Paracelsus there is
no sitting on the fence, especially when it comes to the book of Daniel. He
is definitely on one side of it while those described by Daniel are on the
other. All in all, Paracelsus shows that not much has changed in nearly 4000
plus years of history.
Few writers get to the
point like Paracelsus - No political correctness here. To this day people
still try to emulate this truly great man. Physicians try to copy his methods and
remedies, but few if any succeed. But in addition to his extensive and
comprehensive medical writings, he was one of the most prolific writers on
matters of the spirit and Divinity. He wrote with clarity, inspiration and love for his
faith and God. Never the hypocrite, as you can read below, he did not write
to suit religion or the religious. His legacy and work lives and shines to
this day remaining relevant especially in light of recent church and ongoing
religious scandals within all Christian denominations which prove that his
observations made nearly 500 years ago of these sects were correct then, and remain
accurate to this
day.
To an objective person
Paracelsus is an illuminating read. His explanations are simple and his
words are brief yet they inform the reader to what in hindsight should have
been obvious. Paracelsus admits that interpreting The Prophesies of Daniel
is not simple, yet he does a marvelous job of it.
"Paracelsus; beloved
by the common man whom he served, scorned by the elite whom he exposed."

Excerpt from Philosophia Mystica: The
Prophesies of the Prophet Daniel by Paracelsus |
|
This book
was written by Theophrastus Paracelsus of Hohenheim (1493-1541), a Swiss
Physician and Alchemist.
In the year
1618, it was first printed and published in Newstadt and available through
Lucas Jennis -Bookseller , under the title "Philosophia Mystica."
The basis
for this English Translation was the 1943 W. Keiper-Berlin Edition. This
Edition was written in the original Swiss-German dialect of Paracelsus.
The English
Translation follows as closely as possible the 1943 Berlin-Edition, which in
turn followed the 1618 Edition. This is the reason for the structure of the
sentences, which seem at times long and peculiar yet very clear, to the
point, and understandable.
This was
done intentionally to maintain the authenticity of
Paracelsus'
Original Writings and to preserve the content, without change. Therefore,
the thought processes and logic have been left undisturbed so that the
serious reader receives a greater understanding of Paracelsus' knowledge and
thereby being the beneficiary of this knowledge.
The Reader
should keep in mind that Paracelsus wrote this over 400 years ago. It is
amazing how accurate Paracelsus is, but even more amazing, how accurate the
Bible is. That leads to the conclusion of how accurate it will be
and, if we Human beings want to be part of this knowledge and of this
understanding, then we have to make the effort and spend the time to learn.
The Bible
states in Revelation Chapter I, vs. 3:
Blessed is he that
readeth and they that hear this prophecy and keep those things which are
written therein; for the time is at hand.
