The Seventh Seal – On The Way Towards The Second Coming of Christ
Symbolism And Mysticism Can Be Nearly Impossible To Comprehend Without Some Inspired Guidance.
From the New Revelation
The opening of the seventh seal, or the end of the whole developmental process, when in spite of all plagues and tribulations, mercy finally does its work, is depicted by the seven calls of the trumpets and the ensuing plagues, which will only be a means of cleansing to lead people back to the ultimate good. The trumpet calls likewise depict the moral – spiritual changes which are taking place in the human heart as soon as the two-edged sword of doubt intervenes and the distrust of disbelief lashes its scourge.
Thus, the incense offering (sacrifice) on the altar of love was, metaphorically, a plague for selfish mankind. As, metaphorically speaking, everything withered away, so man in general closed his heart to all noble qualities; he wanted no part of a religion demanding sacrifices and curbing his worldly passions.
A further explanation of the Seventh Seal as the Seventh Spirit in God.
